Thanks for visiting my website! My name is Melody, an award winning wedding, funeral and naming celebrant based in York and covering all of Yorkshire. I'm here to help with your ceremony needs, for weddings, funerals, namings and any other life celebrations!
I have worked in customer service, and the wedding and events industry for over 20 years. I also worked at my local register office conducting legal marriage ceremonies in both the register office and approved venues around York. So, I have lots of experience to create your perfect ceremony!
Hi, I'm Melody, a 'Yorkshire 'n proud' celebrant ready to make your ceremony dreams come true.
My home is in York, where I grew up. I live with my husband Marc, our beautiful baby daughter Matilda and our slightly crazy, but super cute, border collie Rooster. I love watching films snuggled on the sofa with a cup of tea. I love getting out into nature and taking long walks with Roo. I love cooking, eating and discovering new restaurants. I love to travel and have been very lucky to visit every continent. I love music, going to live gigs, singing in the shower and the odd spot of karaoke (our neighbours love us!).
