Thanks for visiting my website! My name is Melody, a wedding, funeral and naming celebrant based in York and covering all of Yorkshire. I'm here to help with your ceremony needs, for weddings, funerals, namings and any other life celebrations!
I have worked in customer service, and the wedding and events industry for over 20 years. More recently I worked at my local register office conducting legal marriage ceremonies in both the register office and approved venues around York. So, I have lots of experience to create your perfect ceremony!

My home is in York, where I grew up. I live with my husband Marc and our slightly crazy, but super cute, border collie Rooster. I love watching films snuggled on the sofa with a cup of tea. I love getting out into nature and taking long walks with Roo. I love cooking, eating and discovering new restaurants. I love to travel and have been very lucky to visit every continent. I love music, going to live gigs, singing in the shower and the odd spot of karaoke (our neighbours love us!).
