Hello and welcome to the sparkling world of Melody Diamond!
Thanks for visiting my website! My name is Melody, an award winning wedding, funeral and naming celebrant based in York and covering all of Yorkshire. I'm here to help with your ceremony needs, for weddings, funerals, namings and any other life celebrations!
I have worked in customer service, and the wedding and events industry for over 20 years. I qualified as a celebrant in 2023 and have since helped over 40 couples and families with their ceremonies. I worked at my local register office conducting legal marriage ceremonies and was inspired to give couples the best ceremony possible, and I love the freedom of being an independent celebrant as it allows me to be fully inclusive and open to all your ideas. I love what I do, truly care about you and your story; and pour my heart and soul into your day! I can't wait to hear how I can help to create your perfect ceremony!
Hi, I'm Melody, a 'Yorkshire 'n proud' celebrant ready to make your ceremony dreams come true.
My home is in York, where I grew up. I live with my husband Marc, our beautiful daughter/crazy toddler Matilda and our even more crazy, but super cute, border collie Rooster. I love watching Netflix snuggled on the sofa with a cup of tea. I love getting out into nature and taking long walks with Roo. I love cooking, eating and discovering new restaurants. I love to travel and have been very lucky to visit every continent. I love music, going to live gigs, singing in the shower and the odd spot of karaoke (our neighbours love us!).
I love meeting new people...
I love hearing people's stories and working together to make sure their wedding, funeral or naming ceremonies are exactly what they dreamed of. Living in York and covering all of Yorkshire, I have a friendly Yorkshire accent and can't wait to bring my Yorkshire charm to your occasion. With a sprinkle of humour, a dollop of love, a huge pouring of personalisation, we can stir up a tasty, sparkling and wonderful ceremony that you, your family and friends will remember for years to come.
